IB Security Device Sharing

If you have two or more accounts at IB, you can share the Security device/card across the accounts. To do so, follow the steps below:

1) Login to IB Account Management for one account
2) If you already have security device for atleast one account, skip to step 3. If you do not have a security device yet,
do the following:
Manage Account -> Security -> Security Login System -> Request Security Device.

IB will provide a temporary security card on the screen. Print this (or save it as an image). You will need this to login to IB account management till you get your permanent security card.

3) Manage Account -> Security -> Security Login System -> Security Device Sharing

Follow the prompts ( IB will ask information about account to share the device with. )
